This is my first piece of planning for this project, I choose to use full colour in this image using pencil crayons. It was drawn from one of my own photographs. It is interesting how the distant train is at the vanishing point of the image.

Aspects of American Realism 5

This is a drawing from a screen print by Gerd Winner. It is just a bit smaller than A3 but much narrower, I cropped the original image to get rid of some bricks and make the image more panoramic which draws more attention to the central detail and negative space.
