These are two pieces of planning for my current project, they were both drawn from my own photographs taken in New York. They are both just a little smaller than A4, the Chrysler building is drawn in the usual HB where as the Speedy Park is drawn in fine liner and red pen.

Aspects of American Realism F.P.1

This is the photograph I am producing my first final piece from for this project. It is one of my photographs which I have edited and cropped slightly to create this black and white wide aspect image. The drawing that I am producing will be 33 x 18 inches so it is relatively tiny compared with my other final pieces.

Aspects of American Realism 7

This is my final artist connection for this project, this image first inspired me to use colour pencil crayons within my drawings and strangely it was the last one I have finished. The original was produced by Guz Heinze and was entitled 'Made in USA', his work is considered to be abstract photorealism and this piece has some abstract qualities despite being a real life photograph.
